Unique French manufacturer Meteor Clay craftsmen offers a revolutionary material for the manufacture of metal objects small (jewelry, sculptures).
Meteor clay consists to 90% of metallic particles and 10% organic binder and water. It can be cold worked as a dough. After drying, the shaped object is very hard and can be reworked (with traditional tools: lime, sand paper, emery paper).
Oven firing at high temperature to 830 ° C for bronze and 900 ° C for copper to burn the binder and bonding the particles to obtain a pure metal object. The strength obtained is approximately 80% to 90% of that of a cast metal.
